Larnach Castle

The New Zealand Express Company
Completed in the year 1910, this building was designed by a firm A. & S. Luttrell. Built using latest international methods of reinforcement at that time, the consultancy house has two primary facades that are designed in Romanesque style. Interestingly, the building is earthquake and even fire resistant.
Dunedin Prison
Prisons stand the test of time and remain unchanged in years. Here is one such prison that tell the tale of time. Akin in feel to the Scotland Yard of London, Dunedin Prison was completed in the year 1898. Designed by John Campbell, the prison features intricate details with striking exteriors in red and pale. An example of Edwardian neo-Baroque style, it is one of the most popular tourist attractions.
Dunedin Railway Station
Known as the outstanding monument of Edwardian Architecture in the entire New Zealand, the Dunedin Railway Station is one of the most photographed buildings. Built in the year 1906 and designed by George Alexander Troup, it features the domed location with stained glass windows that depict locomotives. The tiled arches engulfing ticket boxes, blossoming gardens and other features of this station are truly impressive.
